A training to help adolescents access the Therapeutic Powers of Play with Expressive Arts for Deep Level Healing.
I have read and agree to the terms & conditions.
To really bring about change for your client you need to make sure you are targeting what is activating the problem.
To do that you need to make sure your “lens” for understanding the problem takes into consideration all aspects of your client’s life and history.
Using a neuroscience and attachment “lens” provides a framework to understand the problem and the solution to guide your decision-making throughout the treatment process. And sometimes, adolescents need another way to access the painful areas of their life to fully engage in the healing process. Expressive arts provide an avenue to help your adolescent clients explore important issues that are underlying their mental health challenges – negative self-concept, beliefs about self, beliefs about others, and beliefs about relationships. Using a neuroscience and attachment lens also helps you to understand the impact of attachment and the role of attachment in an adolescent’s mental health.
